Jonah’s Limo to Lunch : The Ultimate Dining Experience

There are many ways to feel like a million dollars and riding inside a set of wheels which costs exactly that, is our recommendation.  

So when Australia’s leading A-list Limousine Company Royale, and hatted Jonah’s restaurant at Palm Beach get together, it’s a match made in cliff-top heaven. The ultimate dining experience is hot off the pans, limo to lunch.

Being picked up by a ‘Drophead’ would normally make you run for cover, but neighbours’ curtains will twitch, people stop and stare whilst traffic parts like Moses in this chauffer-driven convertible Phantom Rolls Royce. It’s hard not to feel like a super star languishing in caramel leather seats surrounded by walnut dashboards. It’s a yacht on wheels with a ride like a magic carpet.

The spell binding experience continues as you enter Jonah’s. The feeling of being on top of the world continues as Tattinger Champagne is poured, and a wine list of ‘1001 wines you must try before you die’ appears – perhaps you should stay a few days longer?   

White seats, table cloths, impeccable service and presentation simply elevate the experience to the star of the show (almost)…the view.

Kick off with a line up of prawn, bug and iberico with shavings of artichoke, radish, chili and gremolata or opt for seared north Atlantic Scallops on bourbon foam base with fioe gras, artichoke and coffee. Chose from mains of perfectly seared, generously sliced Aylesbury duck with confit yolk and young pistachio, or Murray Code partnered with scallop mousse topped with truffle slices. If you have room, squeeze in rum ice cream gateaux with flamed banana, but take it on the alfresco area overlooking whale beach.

In a dreamlike state, the drive home takes mere moments. One thing’s for sure … this goes beyond the ultimate dining experience, creating memories that will stay with you.
